Intelligence Anst I

The Counterintelligence Analyst will conduct all-source research and threat analysis of counterintelligence, counterterrorism, force protection, and information operations of foreign military forces and their operations, capabilities, activities and trends to support fused intelligence and threat production, particularly to protect U.S. Army and DoD equities. Assess intelligence from reporting; disseminate evaluations back to reporting elements to apprise them of the quality and value of the reporting and coordinate with analytical elements to identify information gaps and under-reported requirements. Maintain reporting statistics and assess past collection to assist commanders in determining the impact of their operations and shaping future collection. Develop investigative leads for counterintelligence agents by conducting in depth research and analysis through the use of both classified and unclassified databases. Conduct analysis of source reliability and report credibility in support of the source validation process. Categorize subjects based on derogatory information, association to terrorism or foreign intelligence entities (FIE), and threat assessments acquired through research. Provide support to counterintelligence investigative activities and operations through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community. Provide analytical updates to leadership. Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for assigned tasks. Conduct all tasks in support of investigations and operations under AR 381-20. These positions will be located in the United States which could include Fort Meade, Maryland; Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and Fort Belvoir, VA.
