Intelligence Anst I

The Counterintelligence Support Analyst will conduct and lead all-source research and threat analysis of counterintelligence, counterterrorism, force protection, and information operations of foreign military forces and their operations, capabilities, activities and trends to support fused intelligence and threat production, particularly to protect U.S. Army and DoD equities. Develop investigative leads for counterintelligence agents by conducting in depth research and analysis through the use of both classified and unclassified databases. Conduct research using records checks, social networking analysis, digital mapping programs, and intelligence/law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source and classified searches, in order to support investigative activity, subject interviews, and case development. Conduct analysis of source reliability and report credibility in support of the source validation process. Categorize subjects based on derogatory information, association to terrorism or foreign intelligence entities (FIE), and threat assessments acquired through research. Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations. Provide support to counterintelligence investigative activities and operations through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community. Provide analytical updates to leadership. Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for assigned tasks. Requires in-depth knowledge of AR 381-12 (Threat Awareness Reporting Program), AR 381-20 (US Army Counterintelligence), AR 381-10 (US Army Intelligence Activities), and DODI 5240.23 (Counterintelligence Activities in Cyberspace). These positions will be located in the United States which could include Fort Meade, Maryland ; Fort Gordon, Georgia; Fort Shafter, Hawaii; and Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
