Intel Analyst (Mid) - WMD SME CWMD Analysis
Provide all-source Counter WMD (CWMD) nuclear, bio, and chem (NBC) analytic support for USPACOM JIOC. Assist in the production and integration of all-source intel. Develop and produce finished intel products (e.g. Morning Intel briefings (MIBs), JIOC Special reports (JSRs), JIOC intel Bulletins (JIBs)). Provide assessments for specific geographic areas of interest, conduct ongoing research, and prepare detailed analytic reports. Maintain technical expertise on NBC issues and monitor countries of interest. Initiate, maintain, an support development of JIPOE for CP/CWMD. Prepare and lead broad and complex studies and analysis on research, development, testing, production, storage, deployment and use of weapons, and produce detailed analytic papers and briefings with results. Remain up to date on WMD info, issues, policies, and particularly NBC programs. Coordinate and collaborate with JIOC Collection managers to obtain IMINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT collection requirements, and recommend solutions to collection shortfalls. Leverage network of IC and non-IC organizations that study, collect, and analyze programs of interest. Analyze and develop data into working databases to provide a baseline of information. Support community coordination, preparing written, formal responses to community requests in coordinating on finished intel products, and preparing information papers as required. Provide analytic input and expertise regarding operations, contingency plans execution orders, and other taskings. Become familiar with command webpage programs, and post and maintain functional web pages (such as A-Space and SharePoint). Support planning conferences, working groups, and exercises.
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Required education and skills: Bachelors or higher degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training and 4-8 years of intelligence analysis experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience related to WMD. Candidates must have demonstrated expertise and experience relevant to responsibilities defined in the job description.
