Integrated Logistics Support Manager
BAE is seeking an experienced, strategic-thinking Product Support/Sustainment Engineering leader to capture, progress, and execute through-life sustainment programs for military defense systems.
The successful candidate must be a proven self-starter, agile thinker, and influential leader, with the ability to move from strategy to implementation, fostering close working relationships across multiple disciplines, project teams, and internal/external management leads.
The candidate must possess strong Product Support/Sustainment Engineering planning and execution skills, along with strong organizational skills to manage overlapping contracts, budgets, and schedules.
Individual will lead Product Support personnel in proposal efforts, and must be able to identify innovative sustainment strategies to capture new business opportunities.
The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance upon employment.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
•10+ years of experience in Product Support/Sustainment Engineering for commercially-developed military defense products. 5-7 years as a Product Support Leader or Logistics Engineering Manager on medium to large programs, establishing and managing through-life support programs from pre-system acquisition through sustainment
•In-depth experience overseeing the development of Logistics Engineering data products in a DoD environment, including Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Logistics Management Information (LMI), Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Sparing analysis, Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Technical Manuals, and Training
•Experience quoting Logistics Engineering tasks, then tracking and reporting on program expenditures and schedule via Earned Value Management System (EVMS) as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
•Must have an understanding of how Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) are developed and maintained
•Working knowledge of Logistics Engineering tools such as SLICWave, Eagle, COMPASS/SESAME
•An understanding Reliability, Maintainability, Testability, and System Safety disciplines and their relationship to Logistics
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
•The ability to travel as this job requires approximately 20% travel
Preferred Skills and Education
- Knowledge of military electronic systems and subsystems
- Experience in Depot sustainment activations including infrastructure/resource planning and execution
- Knowledge of Software programs used for Spares modelling
- Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain higher levels of clearances
