Weekend Shift inspector performs in-process and final inspection operations on microwave and RF modules utilizing a microscope for the majority of the work day. Microwave devices include MMICs, resistors, diodes, capacitors, IC's and all bonding types (wire and ribbon), which are inspected to MIL-STD-883 requirements. May be required to operate an automated optical inspection (AOI) machine.
Must have 4-8 years manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2 years of electronics inspection experience with military hardware against MIL-STD-883 and IPC-A-610. Must have the ability to read assembly drawings, process sheets and other related documentation used for the inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies. Ability to utilize various inspection tools such as Vernier's, microscopes, gauges, etc.. Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instruction/safety guidelines.
