Information System Security Manager (ISSM)

Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of the BAE contractor’s Classified Information System. Work closely with members of the BAE security team including other contractor support to ensure readiness for periodic inspections. Duties will extend to assisting in the validation of the Navy customer’s research development test and evaluation certification and accreditation process. The successful candidate will become a member of the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Workforce.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Minimum education and years of related work experience required: Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of related work experience, Associate’s Degree and at least 10 years of related work experience or HS Diploma and at least 14 years of related work experience and possesses Cybersecurity credentials compliant with DoD Instruction 8570.01 to fulfill an Information Assurance Technician 1 (IAT1) position

Security clearance requirement: Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required). The selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until at least an interim Secret clearance is granted

Must also have the following:

Proficient in Windows desktop and server environments

Proficient with various Cisco firewall, routers and switches

Proficient with the DoD Security Technical Information Guides (STIG)

Proficient in DoD Host Based Security Systems

Understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operational Manual (NISPOM)

Strong writing skills

Strong presentation skills

The ability to manage and execute a robust information system security program

Understand and implement both NISPOM and DoD security requirements

Proficient with Type-1 encryptors

Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer relations

Preferred Skills and Education Highly desired, but not required:

Active DoD Secret security clearance
