Information Management Systems Analyst

Job Description

The successful candidate will seek to improve the overall customer experience related to information management, service delivery, and technology tools within the Electronic Solutions Engineering business area. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting the various disciplines which make up the Engineering organization. S/he is expected to understand various IT technologies, business needs, assess business impact, capture, analyze and document requirements and support the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders. The position of Systems Analyst reports to the Senior Manager of Information Management. This position can be located at a major Electronic Systems site (NH, Greenlawn, Wayne)

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Ability to understand and document complex technical topics
Background in IT service support
Familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems
Familiarity with various networking topologies
Self-directed, detail oriented, organized, multi tasker - ability to keep track of a myriad of moving parts.
Strong soft communication skills

Preferred Skills and Education
Hands on systems analysis or systems administrator experience
Project Management experience
Experience working with large scale implementations
Accustomed to working in a matrixed environment.
