Import Analyst

Job Description

The Import Compliance and Traffic Associate Specialist is responsible for performing compliance, special investigations and risk based finance and operational audits for Imports. Responsibilities include daily import audits, financial auditing and payment authorization of freight invoices in a high volume area. This function interacts with Financial, Operational, and Procurement personnel across the company. This function also interacts on a daily basis with BAE's Customs Brokers.

Successful candidates need to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, must be detailed orientated with knowledge of compliance regulations.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant audit, accounting, compliance experience.

• Knowledge of Trade Compliance and related regulations.

• Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate compliance risks.

• Proven interpersonal, organizational, communications, and analytical skills.

• Strong math skills with the ability to make payment decisions.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills to include excel, powerpont and access
