The successful candidate will work as an Image Analyst providing technical expertise and technical leadership to the customer in the Image Quality and Utility office.

The candidate will use his/her knowledge of Commercial, DoD, and Intelligence Community (IC) sensor types/platforms and imagery enhancement, imagery storage/data handling, exploitation systems/techniques, and/or data formats to lead and participate in product quality assessments and projects, and communicate outcome to relevant stakeholders.

Other responsibilities will include:

Coordination with counterparts across customer key components, mission partners, and the IC to conduct enterprise PQ tests; project leadership and community coordination with internal and external team members; development and execution of tests within planned resources and time frames using internal project management tools; analysis of prototype intelligence products and/or test results to determine acceptability of products for community consumption; manipulation of imagery and imagery products to include, chipping, enhancement, scene content vetting, database management; basic understanding of image metadata; represent the customer in project meetings, technical working groups, and other technical community forums in regards to product quality assurance; develop and maintain customer assessment project schedules and databases; lead and/or support image assessment activity, including assessment projects related to the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG); analyze test results to determine adequacy of data or products for quality assurance; develop and maintain related CONOPS and Work Instructions.

The preferred candidate will have training and experience in still-frame imagery as a primary discipline, with experience in motion imagery as a secondary discipline; experience working with imagery analysts in an operational environment; experience with collecting products from NSG libraries using client-based tools such as Net-Centric GEOINT Discovery Services and/or Enhanced Tailored Production Request (eTPR); knowledge of mission partner organization and processes; experience with a variety of Electronic Light Tables (ELTs).
