IFF PRG Program Engineering Manager

The IFF PRG is looking to add a Project engineering manager (PEM) to their staff. Initially, the Candidate will be assigned to assist a more senior PEM in execution of one or more programs. As his/her Skill level and domain knowledge increases, the expectation is that he/she will take ownership of the engineering efforts on an entire engineering effort and will be subsequently be assigned increasing levels of responsibility on increasingly complex programs.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education The PEM Position requires the candidate to Coordinate and manages the engineering activities on the assigned program(s) to comply with cost, schedule and technical requirements and established engineering practices in order to meet program commitments. The desired candidate will be a good decision maker that has experience in military electronics, managing programs and leading/coordinating the engineering activities of others. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers are also required. A candidate with experience in IFF is preferred but not required.

Required education: Bachelor Degree or relevant / demonstrated experience in lieu of a degree Preferred Skills and Education · Masters Degree in Engineering or Business

  • IFF Domain knowledge
  • Experience in IFF Mode S and ADS-B
  • Experience developing and/or integrating military Avionics
