Gov Property Mgt Spec Sr

This position is responsible for administering, reporting and self-assessing Contractor Outcomes of the Government Property Management System. This includes the maintenance of records and issuance of required contractual and FAR Reports concerning Government and Customer property; such as Loss Reports, Physical Inventory Reports, etc., from receipt to final contract property closeout after contract completion or termination. The person in this position is expected to ensure company compliance with FAR/DFARS and other Government regulations as well as contractual requirements. In addition they are expected to provide all documentation and audit trail records for the self-assessments as well as be the primary liaison with and coordinate internal support of the annual Government Property Management System Analysis (PMSA), performed by DCMA, as well as all Customer and other internal and external audits of the NJ sites. This person creates, updates and maintains auditable records of Government and Customer property at BAE Systems facilities and other alternate sites and manages interfaces with associated vendors/subcontractors. This may include site visits to perform adequate oversight. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills in writing, speaking and presenting as well as the ability to exercise discretion and independent but appropriate judgment. It requires a solid knowledge of the FAR and DFARS clauses related to Government Property.
