GEOINT Analyst

Job Description

Analyst would be responsible for exploiting data from multiple government and commercial sources, specifically spectral imagery, but able to exploit and extrapolate with multi-spectral, IR, and/or Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery, as well as conduct Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis. Fusion of AGI data using GIS analysis techniques to create second-phase spectral, spatial, and temporal products is an ongoing task. Applicant would be responsible for building information products both graphic and textual for dissemination to users. Some travel required.

Typical Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills with minimum of 5 years of experience in spectral or SAR analysis required
  • Expertise in creating products using the ENVI or SocetGXP suite of software;
  • Strong team player able to thrive in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment;
  • Energized, passionate, and an effective communicator.
  • Able to regularly work weekends

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience in other Advanced Geospatial Intelligence disciplines to include thermal is a significant plus Experience preferred in more advanced imagery tools such as ArcGIS Intelligence Analyst skills Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Remote Sensing or related field or at least 10 years experience with spectral or SAR analysis.
Solid hands-on experience required; Spectral Analysis, SAR Analysis, Imagery Analysis, ENVI, ArcGIS, SocetGXP, Intelligence Analyst, College and/or technical training preferred
