GBSD Junior Modeling and Simulation Engineer
For the past 50 years, the United States Air Force has operated the Minute Man III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system (ICBM) as the land based component to America's nuclear triad. Recently, the congress of the United States has approved the Air Force to investigate the next generation ICBM system, which is commonly referred to as the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD). As the Integration Support Contractor, BAE Systems is executing the critical role of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance to the Air Force in the development of the GBSD system. Our customer is the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program Office located at Hill AFB, north of Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be a long term project with the weapon system anticipated to remain operational until 2075. BAE Systems is assisting the Air Force in the determination and evaluation GBSD Weapon System using modeling, simulation, and analysis. We are looking for engineers with backgrounds in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis methods and techniques. The candidates should be capable of obtaining a clearance at a DoD or a DOE level clearnace. Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills and Education
Candidates with an M.S. or Ph.D. in related fields of engineering or physics will be considered favorable for this position.
Experience with ICBM 6DOF Flight Simulations.
