Finance Manager

Production Finance Manager sought to lead a team providing a wide range of financial support to the Controls and Avionic business area. As a finance manager, the selected analyst will train, develop, and support a team of analysts who are each responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis for specific product lines. The primary responsibilities of these analysts are revenue, gross margin, inventory, and below the line costs such as physical inventory, scrap, and cycle counts. The selected candidate will work closely with the Fort Wayne, Indiana and Guaymas, Mexico operations in continuously improving current metrics and providing ad hoc analysis when needed.

Specific to the Guaymas site, the selected candidate will lead the cost accounting efforts, supported by a foreign national at the site. These responsibilities include inventory, below the line expenses, reconciliations of import records with the Mexican government, and work transfer support and savings analysis. Specific to the Fort Wayne site, the selected candidate will report, update, and manage the labor process pools in Fort Wayne.

Must be able to work effectively with short turnaround job tasking and time constraints in a highly dynamic work environment. Must have excellent communications skills as there is interaction with senior level management and cross-functional specialists. Superior Microsoft Office skills in Excel and PowerPoint are strongly preferred.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Organized and disciplined in work habits; ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Strong initiative and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
