The Multi-Vehicle Mission Control System (M2CS) product line Field Service Representative will provide comprehensive M2CS Systems Sustainment and Field Support at a designated Customer Facility(s) as directed by the Program Manager. The Senior Field Engineer field position requires extensive travel in support of mission planning systems. The Senior Field Engineer must have strong communications skills and tact working closely with Military personnel, Prime and Associate Contractors, BAE Systems Program Managers and engineers as well as other field team members.
Anticipated travel is 2 out of every 6 weeks supporting onsite flight test and integration activities. The Senior Field Engineer must have flexible travel schedule to support program key test/integration and deployment milestones. After a period of training in Burlington Massachusetts, the Senior Field Engineer will provide field support for the integration, installation, and configuration of associated mission planning systems as well as operator-based training and supporting the Linux/Windows based operating systems for configuration, integration and display troubleshooting.
The Senior Field Engineer will conduct behavioral analysis to determine that the mission planning system is performing as expected. As part of this analysis the Senior Field Engineer will identify deficiencies and provide assistance to company engineers or customer personnel investigating failures and detecting technical deficiencies and investigates methods by which those failures and deficiencies can be eliminated. While in Burlington, the Senior Field Engineer conduct hands-on testing to include operational and behavioral analysis as part of the test team.
Candidates for this position require an active or current Top Secret Security clearance.
This position may require you to deploy CONUS or OCONUS.
