F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) Verification Lead at Lemoore, NAS, CA.
Specific tasks include the Verification of JTD Data Modules / Maintenance Tasks / Procedural Data by Actual Performance (Hands-On), Desk-Top Analysis, Similarity, and/or Simulation. Verification of JTD Data Modules ensures that the procedural data is Technically Accurate, Adequate, and Safe for Use by USG / Foreign Service Maintainers. Verifications on JTD Data Modules supporting F-35A (CTOL), F-35B (STOVL) and F-35C (CV) configurations can be expected. Verification tasks include coordinating, directing, performing, and tracking tasks associated with the successful completion of the verification of JTD Data Modules, recording of verification comments, update of verification completion reports, and metric development. Some overtime and shift flexibility, as required, should be expected.
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Aircraft maintenance technical data verification experience in one or more of the following fields: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, landing gear, structures, canopy, propulsion, general aircraft servicing and inspection. Must be familiar with Technical Data / Orders / Publications supporting Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of Military and/or Commercial Aircraft, including their associated Support Equipment (SE) and Logistics requirements.
Additional experience desired to include:
F-35 maintenance experience
Removal, installation and inspection of aircraft components
Aircraft Inspections and Servicing
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Familiarity / direct experience with and using SGML/XML, SGML/XML Authoring Tools, and/or previous experience in the Authoring and Sustainment of Technical Data / Orders / Publications.
Good coordination and communication skills are required.
Experience with MS Office applications.
Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
