EWIMC Industrial Engineer

Job Description

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Will work with product lines within the EWIMC to introduce LEAN manufacturing principles. Will work to set up and maintain ProModel models to help determine strategic future planning.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Individual should be familiar with LEAN principles
Should be familiar with ProModel, Vizio, or equivalent programs
