EVOIP Help Desk Operations Manager

The Operations Lead Network Engineer candidate must possess excellent working knowledge of EVOIP networks, equipment, systems, servers and desktop applications with the ability to multitask, while working on complex issues, assisting junior engineers, and keeping the customer and management appraised of any issues that may affect EVOIP service and availability in a tier2/tier3 service desk environment. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, along with experience in generating analytical and performance reports on a regularly scheduled basis as well as on demand. The Operations Lead will also need to be skilled in the management and technical oversight of the system and team members.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

Expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Core and edge systems such as SBC, PSTN gateways, SIP gateways, analog gateways, QoS appliances, network switches, paging gateways, IP phones, soft phones and vIPer secure phones, FXO/FXS, as well as expert knowledge of servers and desktop appliances. The candidate also must have additional skills to include WAN, LAN, Windows 2012 Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SCSM ticketing software, application installation and security updates, as well as the ability to lead a highly motivated team of engineers in a complex customer environment with prior experience in management and reporting.
