EPAWSS Program Manager

Job Description
The Program Manager will be responsible for initiating and planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing on critical activities during an Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Program. This includes leading cross-functional teams consisting of Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Subcontracts, Operations and Quality team members.

Examples of specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading and assisting with the development of Requirements Change Proposals (RCPs); Risk and Opportunity Management; Capital Management; Communicating program information to a large, geographically disperse team; Planning and Coordinating customer meetings; Integrating multiple sources of information into summary briefings; Preparing program-related deliverable documentation, Recording and Tracking action items and performing other miscellaneous special projects at the direction of the Program Management Office (PMO).

Candidate should demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, leadership, problem-solving skills, accountability, and excellent closure orientation. Candidate should be capable of working independently and within team(s) to solve problems.

Typical Education & Experience

Required Skills and Education
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Strong organizational and communication skills
Flexible, adaptable, strong initiative
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Desire to learn and apply Program Management processes and techniques

Preferred Skills and Education

Prior experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
Prior experience as a team lead
Active security clearance
PMP Certified
