EOIR Systems Engineer
BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Principle Systems Engineer specializing in application of skillset to Electro Optic and RF systems for proof of concept and prototype development. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of systems engineering; from concept exploration and feasibility analysis, proposal writing, requirements and specification development, interface design, integration and test planning, laboratory and field/flight testing.
Qualified candidates must be competent in the use of Modeling and Simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink or others) for developing and allocating requirements and in performance prediction. Program size and duration varies and requires that the system engineer be able to perform both independently with a high degree of autonomy and as an integral member of a team. Must be comfortable and competent in customer interactions presenting work product and developing follow-on activities. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Requires Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent and 12+ years related experience.
Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
Must have proven experience in the following:
- Electro Optical Systems
- Pointers/Control Systems
- Integration, Validation and Verification
- Field Testing
- MATLAB/Simulink Preferred Skills and Education Radio Frequency Systems experience preferred.
Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience preferred.
