Entry level E3 EMI/EMC Engineer
As an EMC Engineer at BAE Systems, you will participate in the development and test of hardware projects related to Electronic Systems. In this position, you will be a member of the EMC group providing technical assistance to Engineering by analyzing specifications and designs on their ability to meet electromagnetic environmental effects (EEE) requirements.
Analysis will be conducted using tools such as Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, LTspice, and Matlab. You will also be responsible for writing Mil-Std 461 test plans/procedures test reports, and conducting root cause analysis on test failures. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Courses in power systems and RF/Microwave.
Hands on experience with test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Programming experience in Matlab
Good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment managing multiple projects and commitments
Preferred Skills and Education Bachelor Degree with courses in Electromagnetics and Electromagnetic Compatibility
