  • Serve as the Senior Level liaison for transfer of engineering knowledge into operations team for all technical issues related to the Desktop Initiative Solution
  • Work with Service Transition and release team to ensure that service operations documentation is sufficiently prepared with each release
  • Work with test teams and technical documentation teams on early identification of operational issues
  • Help engineer the System Center Manager to ensure maxim visible is captured of all issues within the DI solution
  • Provide hands on troubleshooting along with technical team to assist with root cause and corrective actions for problem management and other Tier III escalations Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education – Working understanding and hands on experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and related technologies
  • Working understanding and hands on experience with server virtualization based on VMware, Microsoft, or Citrix hypervisors
  • Understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and desktop tools
  • Strong written and oral presentation
  • Experience troubleshooting and reporting on IT solutions relevant to desktop delivery
  • Experience working with engineering teams bringing new technology into production environments for Federal Government customers
  • Security+ certified (or other certification to meet DoDD 8570 compliance) Preferred Skills and Education – Understanding of Federal Government Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes
  • Experience with security hardening
  • Powershell programming
  • Understand use and reporting of Microsoft Systems Center suite of tools
  • Experience standing up and troubleshooting Microsoft SharePoint
