Engineering Lab Coordinator 2
BAE Systems is currently seeking a Lab Coordinator who will support our Design Engineers in troubleshooting problems, developing solutions and running experiments. The candidate will assist engineers in the selection of tools and test instruments and will be responsible for ensuring all Engineering labs are in compliance with ESD and FOD requirements.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Ensures all Test and Measurement Equipment has been placed into the Metrology system and tagged accordingly.
- Follows-up & expedites processing & procurement of material to assure delivery and availability of materials by date required.
- Assists in maintaining a safe, healthy and clean work environment.
- Submits work orders for lab maintenance and other tasks needed to be performed by Facilities.
- Receive, store and issue equipment, material, supplies, or tools and compiles stock records in stockroom.
Minimum Education and Experience This position requires a HS Degree and at least 1 year of electronic maintenance and repair experience. Selected candidate will also need to be able to obtain/maintain a government clearance. Required Skills and Education Test equipment knowledge, with ability to cross reference test equipment capabilities. Organized team player, with a sense of continuous improvement and ready to make suggestions. Preferred Skills and Education Skills with MS Access and Visio preferred but not required
