BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Landing Systems program. The selected candidate will work in a research & development environment of a military test & evaluation facility.

The function of this position is to contribute in developing and sustaining next-generation landing systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

a. Requirements Analysis – Understand technical requirements of a carrier landing system; develop requirements and specifications based on customer inputs.

b. Modeling– Develop models in CORE (ViTech), including reverse-engineering legacy systems and updating for next-generation changes.

c. Provide architecture studies, interface definition studies, and trade-off analyses.

d. Apply engineering experience to systems integration, configuration management, and quality assurance.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
