The software system will process aircraft data through a series of complex Individual Component Tracking (ICT) and Loads/Environment Summary Survey (LESS) algorithms to track the structural condition of the aircraft and/or component(s) over its life. The system will manage data at both the squadron and the fleet level to support maturation of the F-35 System under LRIP and provide engineering analysis capabilities of F-35 data.

The position requires software development experience, Oracle database experience, experience developing web based layouts, applications, analysis experience, and software development experience with Java and/or Java related languages. Applicant will be responsible for requirements analysis, design/mechanization, development/coding, test, maintenance, and documentation of software for the F-35 Structural Integrity team. The applicant will work closely with other software and systems engineers, as well as the customer, to develop ICT/LESS software using an Agile software development methodology. The applicant will apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

This role requires a desire and ability to work in a team environment, and good verbal, written, and communications skills are essential. Candidate will serve as a lead software engineer and contribute to the development of requirements, design, test of complex software systems for F-35 algorithm processing, along with bringing ideas to the table on product and process improvement.

Applicant will interface with Customers, Application Users, and other technical and support personnel on a regular basis, and will interact with an international team of engineers to develop F-35 Software.
