Eng Sr Prin - Research
Do you develop revolutionary ideas based on cutting edge research results and systems technology? Do you have a track record of R&D innovation (or the skills to develop such a record)? Does your passion lie in developing innovative technology to create trusted systems based on hardware supported host-based computer security protections (RISC-V – based), software assurance for autonomous cyber-physical systems, warning and diagnosis techniques for advanced persistent threats, explainable software, self-aware software or other high assurance system technologies? Join us!
As a Research Scientist you will support R&D efforts through all phases of its lifecycle, from brainstorming and conceptualization, to opportunity identification and development, to leading research and experimentation during program execution. You will craft whitepaper and proposals elements encapsulating your ideas, publish and present your results in peer-reviewed venues, and actively engage in the broader research community through professional leadership activities. You will focus on trusted computing, from clean-slate architectures to software assurance to self-aware and self-adapting software, with applications from cyber-physical systems to advanced persistent threats; together we will usher in a new era of secure computing.
Our team includes software engineers with a dedicated passion for creating first of kind systems, as well as computer scientists and engineers with a compulsion to extend their fields. Our organization brings deep military roots and subject matter experts to help you understand the nation's problems. You will bring technical leadership and creativity to strengthen our technical roadmaps. The end result is the opportunity to tackle and solve complex problems that will help our nation continue to succeed.
