Eng Sr Prin - Research
Do you develop revolutionary ideas based on cutting edge research results and systems technology? Do you have a track record of R&D innovation (or the skills to develop such a record)? Does your passion lie in envisioning and realizing innovative technology to enable human-centered analytics, mixed-initiative and human-in-the-loop systems? Join us!
As a Research Scientist you will support R&D efforts through all phases of its lifecycle, from brainstorming and conceptualization, to opportunity identification and development, to leading research and experimentation during program execution. You will craft whitepaper and proposals elements encapsulating your ideas, publish and present your results in peer-reviewed venues, and actively engage in the broader research community through professional leadership activities. You will focus on human-machine teaming and trusted autonomy and automation, promoting systems that enable people and computers to work together, that leverage and steer complex "back-end" algorithms through intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces, with a goal to support human decision making and collaboration across a diversity of domains.
Our team includes software engineers with a dedicated passion for creating first of kind systems, as well as computer scientists and engineers with a compulsion to extend their fields. Our organization brings deep military roots and subject matter experts to help you understand the nation's problems. You will bring technical leadership and creativity to strengthen our technical roadmaps. The end result is the opportunity to tackle and solve complex problems that will help our nation continue to succeed.
