The qualified candidate must have hands-on experience in defining and implementing IT requirements in a mission critical operational environment. Broad knowledge of the interrelationship of ISP (Infrastructure Service Provider or Hardware) and ASP (Application Service Provide, or Software) from an engineering perspective. Practiced in all aspects of integrating ASP segments in a virtualized environment.

The candidate will perform systems engineering activities such as writing use cases, evaluating products, configuring and maintaining computer systems in a virtual environment, providing project leads with consistent, accurate and timely information pertaining to program/project status, development and evaluation of designs and recommending design modifications to provide efficient/non-redundant designs that meet customer requirements, and generating technical documentation.

The candidate in this position will be relied on to develop working relationships with government security personnel to facilitate the accreditation of program systems and software. Job activities also include the development of presentations or other documentation (such as Audit Reports, tracking approved software and submitting requests for new software, Test Plans, and Test Reports) and presenting at milestone events.

The candidate will act as a liaison for engineering activities with the government program office and the prime contractor's engineering team.
