BAE Systems is seeking Engineers to support the Air Force's next generation ICBM weapon system acquisition. Our customer is the GBSD Program Office located at Hill AFB, north of Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be a long term project with the weapon system anticipated to remain operational until 2075.

BAE Systems is seeking a highly qualified Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in both program and technical leadership of system integration, test, and verification of strategic systems. Experience in task planning, budgeting, and leadership of small high performance technical teams is essential. Required skills and experience include:

  • Evaluation of concept architectures, critical technology elements, development plans, acquisition strategy, test planning, and risk management of ICBM Systems
  • Ability to perform as a technical lead for systems integration, test and verification
  • manage the execution plans of all phases of system life cycle from development through production and sustainment
  • Use of model based system engineering for system architecture trades, system simulation and detailed models to verify designs in advance of hardware builds.

Additionally, this position will require the ability to work with co-workers in other facilities and the mentoring of junior and mid-level engineers.
