BAE Systems' Mission Computing product line has an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified systems/electrical engineer to lead efforts to specify, assess, design, test, integrate, and qualify military grade displays for present and future products.

The candidate should possess a commanding subject matter expertise in the areas of display technology, design, and manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible in a technical leadership role for developing specifications to subcontractors, the assessment of subcontractor's display requirements compliance, designs, implementation's performance, and will visit vendor facilities to assess product compliance and quality, manufacturing process influences upon such, and to recommend improvements for both. The candidate should be knowledgeable about currently relevant and future technology trends, and conduct surveys of market offerings and perform trade studies in order to inform and guide product line technology and product roadmaps. The candidate should understand and lead human factors engineering for the display and mission console products. The candidate will be responsible for the completeness, integrity, and quality of the evolving product configuration baseline.

The candidate should have skill with video/imagery standards and technologies, including LCD and backlight technologies, DVI-D/HDMI/DP, touch screens, and general analog circuits. The candidate should also be fully capable of using display measurement equipment including photometers, spectroradiometers, video generators and digital video analyzers.
