Senior Systems Engineer to support the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) business area.
BAE Systems is seeking capable and experienced Systems Engineers to work on our diverse products and capabilities that are critical to the warfighter's success and safety.
PGSS has been awarded new business including the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS™) rocket multi-service IDIQ contract, Family of Weapon Sights-Crew Served (FWS-CS) EMD contract, Enhanced Night Vision Goggle (ENVG) III production delivery order, and Family of Weapon Sights-Individual (FWS-I) LRIP contract.
Candidate will have five years of experience in one or more of the following technology areas: GPS, Guidance Navigation Controls (GNC), Artillery Systems and Missile Seekers, Smart Weapons, Missile Systems and Guided Projectiles, Precision Targeting and Guidance Systems
In additional to domain experience, the candidate will have a proven Systems Engineering background with experience in requirements development, requirements decomposition and trades studies.
DOORs, Magic Draw and MBSE experience required. Ability to communicate technical concepts and designs to both internal and external customers is required. Experience in developing and writing specifications, requirements, test plans and procedures
- Aircraft Threat Modeling and Exploitation
- Hardware in the Loop Testing and Integration
- Signal Processing for Algorithm Development
- Lab and Static and Live Fire Open Air Testing of Aircraft Survivability Solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Scientific Discipline plus applicable experience.
