The selected candidate that will apply their skills in design and leadership in order to develop and support of a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The engineer, working in small teams, will acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills while performing their assigned responsibilities in complex design, internal research and development efforts, mentoring and product development on DOD projects.
This senior electrical engineering role will support and perform "hands-on" design, analysis, and test of complex assemblies, FPGA and embedded system prototype and production hardware. The engineer will be responsible for all phases of the product lifecycle including requirements definition, concept creation, detailed implementation, test and integration, and product support.
The duties assigned to this position will be of a lead engineer, which will include the following: Complex electrical circuit design and analysis, firmware development, technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting, mentoring junior engineering talent and Cost Account Management. It will be expected that the candidate will have proficiency in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.
