BAE Systems is looking for experienced and highly motivated engineers to join our team. We team with other contractors to support the Rocket System Launch Program (RSLP) which is a United States Air Force program. The team works with various launch vehicle contractors throughout the country and performs independent verification and validation (IV&V) of the launch vehicle designs. In addition to RSLP IV&V, the team also leads the force development evaluation effort of an existing Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) system.

Roles and Responsibilities (including some or all of the following):

  • Review electrical requirements, designs, analyses, test plans, procedures and technical reports
  • Review and verify SV/LV electrical interface requirements
  • Monitor avionics developmental and system test activities
  • Evaluate non-conformance closures
  • Perform circuit analysis to evaluate design and anomalies
  • Perform pedigree review of hardware to assess for flight worthiness
  • Evaluate Test-Like-You-Fly avionics configurations
  • Perform independent analyses of avionics system performance
  • Identify and assess mission risks
  • Perform post flight performance analysis
  • Support design reviews and milestones as necessary
  • Present results of analyses to internal, independent review team
  • Review and/or prepare presentations, reports, and other contract deliverables related to analyses
  • Frequent travel to contractor sites
