Job Summary:

Primary experience withhigh-precision tracking radar systems and associated electronic disciplines toinclude digital and analog signal processing, high power RF transmitters,receivers, antennas, antenna positioning systems, computers and computerinterfaces. Requiresknowledge of radar theory and principles, and an understanding of the radardesign, development, and implementation process.

Job Duties:

Provide technical support for various engineering systems. Including large phased array radar, radar algorithmssuch as beam steering, beam forming, tracking and signal processing, travelingwave tubes, receiver and transmitter stability issues, and EMI.

Designs new or modifies existing subsystems, developstechnical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration andprocessing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications.

Prepares documentation for system designs and architecturesin accordance with established systems development processes andprocedures. Performs systems engineeringfunctions such as developing and managing systems level requirements,developing operational systems concepts, performing system architecture tradestudies, originating design concepts or performing systems level integrationand test for highly complex systems. Verifiesand validates aspects of system designs to ensure conformance with functionalspecifications and customer requirements.

Other Responsibilities:

Prepare and present technical presentations to peers, seniorleaders, and Customers. Support businessdevelopment efforts. Generate ideas forpotential proposals. Contributor to newproposals.
