Eng II - Quality

Participate in performing Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis through the application of Lean Six Sigma principles to drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and Zero Defects culture within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area. Apply utilization of Lean Six Sigma tools to analyze systemic issues or events, identify the root cause(s) and implement effective Corrective and Preventive actions (CA/PA) which will reduce or eliminate the recurrence of these or similar issues

Duties includes identifying critical actions by supporting Customer meetings, Program Reviews, Corrective Action Board and Corrective Action Review Board (CAB/CARB), etc. and then leading cross functional teams to address these actions and ensure all requirements are satisfied. Support the Quality Management System (QMS) by identifying risks and coordinating internal audits for the BA Programs and Labs. Assist Quality Program Managers or Engineers meet all internal and customer requirements and apply Lean Six Sigma tools to identify root cause(s) and implement effective Corrective and Preventive actions (CA/PA) proactively and in response to internal and customer Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

The candidate shall possess strong technical, problem solving, leadership and communication skills as they will be working closely with members of both Quality and Operations organizations and Management to meet business objectives, customer requirements and achieve Zero Defects and support the Quality Management System (QMS).
