Eng II - Product
As a member of the Technical Operations Team, this individual will be responsible for supporting the testing, debug and rework of F35 digital modules and product in support of PBL requirements. Solid troubleshooting skills and demonstrated technical support experience are required to provide direction to technicians. This individual will make decisions on a daily basis that facilitate the accurate, timely and efficient repair of modules returned from our customer.
This position will interface with Product, Process and Test Engineers in the Sustainment organization, as well as Program Engineering and Supply Chain, among others. Executing in Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) environment, this individual will see first-hand failure trends and will be positioned to provide input to other groups and influence future test and debug strategy and tools to enable cost effective support over the life of a product.
A strong process focus, demonstrated experience directly supporting Test of digital architectures in an Operations environment, strong technical skills and good communication skills are critical for the success of this role. Individual should have experience training and mentoring technicians.
Experience with RF and Microwave Test is a plus in a dynamic, growing environment, but is not required. The factory is positioned to take on responsibility in additional Products and Programs; individuals will need to work well in a team environment and be open to learning and supporting additional products over time.
Interested candidates should exhibit sound judgment and be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. The ability to manage time effectively while dealing with a variety of issues in a dynamic environment will be key to the success of this individual.
