Job Description
BAE Systems is building a team of Cyber Analysts to analyze, diagnose and resolve issues with security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate the Intelligence Community's (lC) email, data, applications, and web-based systems. Our team of analysts will research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security, and design countermeasures. Our team will also maintain security policies that control physical and virtual access system hardware, software, network firewalls and encryption protocols.

Supports ECRA Task Lead. Establishes security policies and best practices based on security standards and industry trends. Collaborates with entire ECRA Team to maintain system and data security posture during routine operations and maintenance as well as in support of release and development activities. Performs penetration testing, reports on vulnerabilities, and tracks fixes. Recommends security measures/enhancements including configuration changes as well as software/hardware updates.

Work Locations for this opportunity are located primarily in Sterling VA and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. However, other work locations are available in Reston VA, Charlottesville VA, Doral Florida and other CONUS and OCONUS. We're hiring multiple candidates for this position, ranging in skill levels from Junior to Subject Matter Expert.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelors degree in computer related field.
  • 0-3 years | 4-8 years | 9-12 years |13+ years of related experience.
  • Active TS clearance.
  • Understands the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DevSecOps methodology and able to successfully implement an information technology process that effectively protects information assets and ability to perform its mission.
  • DoD 8570 compliant with CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • IAT-III Certification.
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Experience supporting the missions of analysts in the Defense Intelligence Agency or Combatant Commands.
  • Certified at Level III IAM or level IASAE I-III with CISSP, CISM or GSLC credential
