Email Archive Administrator

Job Description

Seeking and Email and SharePoint Archive Administrator experienced with archiving and managing email, SharePoint, and file system data as well as eDiscovery capabilities of archived data. This position will be required to install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016, and Veritas Enterprise Vault. The successful candidate must perform system administrative functions on an enterprise level WAN MS Exchange domain, Veritas Enterprise Vault, and Discovery Accelerator. Additional duties include updating and tracking customer issues through an enterprise ticketing system. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Databases.
This position is open in multiple locations. Work may be performed in Colorado Springs CO, Tampa FL, St Louis MO, or Omaha NE

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Microsoft Exchange-based messaging systems with at least the last 4 years in a senior system administrator role supporting highly-available Exchange environments. Candidate must have a solid background supporting Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, and archiving technologies, specifically Veritas Enterprise Vault and Discovery Accelerator. Candidate must be able to maintain 24x7 availability with no more than four 8-hour scheduled maintenance windows per month. Candidate must be able to restore a Microsoft Exchange mailbox from email data previously archived. Must be able to help guide a solution that supports Amazon Web Services EC2 services. Provide excellent communication both internally with the team and management, as well as externally with the customers. Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully manage multiple projects. Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to evaluate situations make recommendations and take prompt, effective corrective action. Demonstrate good planning skills by ensuring the appropriate scheduling of resources including equipment, and supplies. Demonstrate effectiveness in maintaining a well-organized operation to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the work and information flow; monitor procedures, and implement corrective actions as required. 12+ Years with High School or 10+ Years with Associate's Degree or 8+ Years with Bachelor's Degree or 6+ Years with Master's Degree or 4+ Years with PhD.

Preferred Skills and Education

Proven experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault and Discovery Accelerator; Exchange certification highly desired; ITIL experience and certification desired; Working knowledge of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) would be an added advantage.
