Electronic Warfare (EW) Strategic Operational Manager - Nashua, NH or Wayne, NJ

This position has leadership responsibilities for business development within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area. The role reports directly to the Director of Business Development for ECS and will be responsible to the Product Line Directors. Successful achievement of assigned responsibilities will require clear and proactive leadership..

Responsibilities will be accomplished through development of new business strategies, execution of multiple marketing approaches, collaboration on product and technical roadmaps, frequent customer contacts, and a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements. The person in this role is expected to work independently with limited direction.

Working with the PLD and key program line directors/managers will shape and drive the investment/growth roadmap. Develop and execute a plan to fill the orders pipeline with qualified opportunities that support the Business Areas strategic plan to out perform the market.

1. Grow the orders pipeline within ECS through the creation, identification and qualification of quality opportunities

2. Refine and support the ECS Business Development strategy and methodology

3. Aggressively seek new business opportunities that are consistent with both the Business Area and Sector strategies by leveraging current technologies, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration opportunities

4. Collaborate on the growth of advanced technologies and capabilities to support future customer needs

5. Support the ECS Business Development requirements through data requests, strategy meetings, and networking opportunities

6. Function as an integral member of the business leadership team to improve business execution/management and define growth strategies and opportunities

7. Mentor and develop Business Development and program managers assigned to the IEWSS Product Line Minimum Education and Experience Bachelors and 15+ year(s) relevant experience Required Skills and Education – Bachelor’s and 15+ year(s) relevant experience

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Understanding of the Navy and/or Air Force Electronic Warfare (EW) Mission Area
  • Defense acquisition experience to include research and development, acquisition and support
  • Current or past (with 5-10 years) military (Navy or Air Force) experience; operational experience in EW in both airborne and maritime domain
