Electrician B

Install, inspect and maintain all types of electrical equipment. Fabricate and install all types of copper of aluminum bus bars, conduits , wiring and equipment using wiring diagrams. Must be able to perform pm’s on electrical equipment, grounding and lightning. Fabricate materials for installation or repair of equipment, working from drawings or diagrams. Locate, disassemble or correct and service any motor, starter, control, circuit breaker or circuit on lines of any voltage up to 2300 volts. Read schematics and troubleshoot. Required Skills and Education A.A.S 2-year degree in Industrial Electrical Technology or 4 year or more electrical apprenticeship program from a state certified apprentice program. Minimum three (3) years of industrial experience. Ability to work around chemicals and magnetic drive pumps without restriction. Ability to work from a ladder, in confined spaces, and carry 50 pounds. Must maintain a valid state drivers license. Preferred Skills and Education Knowledge of desktop computer and Microsoft Office skills. Multi skilled, instrument of electronics degree a plus.
