Electrical Engineering Intern with RF or Digital Focus

Job Description

BAE Systems' Electronic Systems (ES) sector is seeking a talented, motivated electrical engineering intern with an interest in Radio Frequency (RF) and or Digital (Firmware) Development, who wants to join a diverse team at a dynamic company that values your technical excellence. At our Dallas, TX facility we design, develop and manufacture Signals Intelligence Payloads for the Department of Defense and also commercial customers. Our company mission is "We protect those who protect us" and you will get an opportunity to apply and enhance your engineering skills in development of products whose primary purpose is to keep our warfighters safe.

As a electrical engineering intern, you will be a m ember of the hardware team involved in the electrical design and development of electronic hardware used in defense electronics systems. The position requires a hands-on detail oriented individual capable of working independently or in cross- functional teams to meet objectives.

Required Skills and Education

Electrical Engineering fundamentals
Basic Familiarity with electrical engineering design/analysis tools
Basic Experience with basic laboratory equipment (i.e. DVMs, Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills and Education

Enrolled in an ABET Accredited Electrical Engineering Program.
GPA of 3.0 or higher
