Electrical Engineer, RF, HW, Design

Job Description

Entry level to 3 years experience for an RF Hardware Design engineer of Military communication equipment in the frequency range of 2MHz to 40GHz including receiver, transmitter, amplifier and synthesizer design. The candidate shall be able to understand RFsystem and sub-system architecture and the flow down of pertinent requirements to individual RF circuit design needs. Familiarity with the design and review process and ability to perform RF circuit schematic design, capture, simulate using industry proven tools, perform circuit layout design leveraging industry CAD tools (ADS/Cadence), support procurement, work hands-on with assembly personnel, test, debug, integrate and support of product qualification is a plus. Candidate should be able to perform well in a team environment and across technical functions. The candidate shall possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Familiarity with the design process and ability to perform RF circuit design and analysis. Must possess the ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Education

Masters degree and/or equivalent work experience a plus.
