The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the Change and Configuration Management process for all program technical publications in accordance IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices. The preferred candidate will have experience working in ITIL v3 based organizations and a firm understanding of document change control. The Document Manager will be responsible for managing and improving program Document Change Management processes and workflows, coordinating documents and other artifacts required by the program, cataloging documents, and assisting with program Quality Assurance efforts on program publications.

Ensure program publications are updated according to the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Facilitate the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents (including software and system engineering, system operation, testing and user documentation).

Coordinate writing efforts with members of the technical writing team, as well as developers and other team members.

Perform Configuration Management activities related to program documentation to include identifying document relationships and building document attributes.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in document management. Working knowledge of ITIL v3 Service Design, Service Strategy, Service Transition, Service Operations, and Continual Service Improvement processes, Experience working with automated ITSM ticketing systems (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests), Excellent meeting management skills, both in person and teleconference skills, Demonstrable ability to prioritize, plan and organize tasks and deliverables effectively with an attention to detail, Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, and Microsoft Visio, Good analytical, planning, presentation, writing, and communication skills Experience working in large federal government organizations. Preferred Skills and Education PMP, Six Sigma/Lean Certifications, CISA, CGEIT certifications highly desired.

Experience working in federal government.

ITIL v.3 Foundation level .
