Dir I- Business Dev
Director, Army Customer Requirements & Advocacy, Aberdeen Proving Ground provides expertise to the Electronics Systems Sector Leadership involving marketing, business development and support of current business activities with US Army APG customers. This position requires that applicants be uniquely qualified by demonstrating expertise in Aviation, Ground, Communications, Networks and Signals Intelligence functions of the US Army.
The position will contribute to the identification, qualification and creation of new business opportunities, to the prioritization of new business and to the development of marketing plans and capture strategies for new US Army business opportunities.
The Director, Army Systems & Requirements will report to the VP of Customer Requirements & Advocacy and support the business areas of the ES Sector. He/she will regularly interface with the US Army units, requirements and acquisition organizations.
The position requires development of and maintaining close trusted partner relationships with current and prospective end users, staff of senior military and civilian US Government customers, customers, as well as industry partners, competitors and suppliers.
The customers would include all relevant Army mission areas associated with current and future Army Strategy. All acquisition life cycle phases for BAE Systems products will be supported from concept development to retirement. The position will coordinate with and support ES Business Areas by presenting briefings highlighting customer strategy, requirements and needs.
When facing the US Army customer, the Director, Army Systems & Requirements will highlight BAE Systems capabilities and solutions.
