Digital Design Manager II - image sensors
1. Supervise a team of digital design engineers for image sensor project and FGPA camera development
2. Oversee and lead design project from initial feasibility to manufacturing release including: specification/requirement definition, chip architecture, schedule and resource planning, project partitioning, design execution (modeling, coding, synthesis, timing, physical, verification, integration etc.), DFT strategy and actual test support, lab evaluation, application support
3. Ensure the digital team follows procedures and design practice required by internal guidelines, interact and support other departments (finance, test, quality, marketing etc.) for efficient product life cycle improvement
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 18 years work experience or equivalent experience OR a Master's Degree and 16 years of total experience OR a PHD and 13 years of total experience
10+ years of experience in the design of digital CMOS ASIC and FPGA design
Basic analog circuit understanding
Experience in chip development life cycle such as design, test, debug, verification, validation, characterization, manufacturing.
Familiar with Cadence design tools for digital design to perform place-and-route, synthesis, RTL coding, STA, design constraints, UVM verification, design for test, design for manufacturability.
Familiar with state of the art high speed output interfacing standards (MIPI, SLVS-EC etc)
Experience with managing a group of engineers
Preferred Skills and Education
The following will be considered strong pluses:
Experience in CMOS image sensor design and mixed signal design preferred
Algorithm design and implementation in an Image Signal Processor system.
Familiar with demosaic, de-noise, and HDR algorithms, Digital Signal Processing.
