Our Mission Intelligence organization provides IT solutions, analytics support, and digital integration to major customers within the US Intelligence Community. We are always looking to provide our customers with a better solution by way of technology insertion, out of the box thinking, and state of the art solutions. We are looking for a DevOps Support Engineer to join our team!
This role is a DevOps Support Engineer and will be a first line support for production teams in an Agile SAFe environment. The Support Engineer will triaging and routing incoming requests, troubleshooting applications or environment issues and remediating them. Acting as the initial point of contract for the DevOps team and will work closing with our DevOpos Engineers to advance the products, teams, and environments supported by the program. This role wills support all aspects of the software development processing to include continuous integration platforms, source control, automation tests and release management.
Required Skills and Education
- Support developers as they use the suite of DevOps services, primarily Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub and Sonatype Nexus.
- Setup and configure DevOps services in support of stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot user issues with DevOps Services, escalating as necessary
- Manage project team configurations across all of the DevOps Service provided
- Document frequently asked questions and create/update knowledge base articles for developers regarding use of DevOps services
Candidate must have BS with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or MS with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
