Deputy Program Manager

BAE Systems, Inc. has an opening for a Deputy Program Manager on Ft. Gordon, GA supporting US Army INSCOM's global GEOINT enterprise. The DPM must have experience and knowledge of various GEOINT disciplines for planning, analysis, and reporting of operations supporting worldwide missions. The DPM will be responsible for managing personnel operating tools for sophisticated GEOINT exploitation and integration; they will provide operational consult to military/DoD civilian operators and supervisors in order to enable multidiscipline GEOINT analysis and mission operations from CONUS and OCONUS locations to tactical consumers and enterprise nodes worldwide. The DPM shall assist the PM responsible for the performance of work, leading a large contractor/subcontractor workforce, liaise between DoD civilians and BAE Program Management, and be available at all times to meet the unique demands of the global GEOINT enterprise mission.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
MA/MS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years of management experience, including 10 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services;
BA/BS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 15 years of management experience, including 10 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services.
Certified as a Program Management Professional (PMP).
Expert knowledge of the intelligence cycle and the analytical process that acts on collection to produce information for intelligence databases and products.
Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines.
Excellent communication and analytical skills in order to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Superior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools with general understanding of GEOINT operations.
Knowledge of and experience in planning and executing technical studies and reports for computer systems and computer networks.
Knowledge of and experience with Irregular Warfare concepts and operations.
