Data Center Design Engineer
The Data Center Design Engineer will design new data center infrastructure for DoD and other CONUS and OCONUS Government facilities. Will also perform site surveys and develop infrastructure upgrades for new VTC and LAN upgrades, and prepare Statements of Work for contractors providing HVAC and Electrical system upgrades.
Thisposition is located in Chesapeake, VA . There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in orstate willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or surroundingareas.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience Required Skills and Education Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and at least five years of related experience.
Ability to obtain/maintain the required security clearance (TS/SCI).
Ability to work together with a supporting design team.
Ability to provide briefings to enterprise stakeholders.
Ability to represent BAE Systems and its customers.
Ability to recognize and capitalize on opportunities for collaboration between BAE Systems and its customers.
Ability to prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) for HVAC, Electrical, and other contractors supporting BAE Systems’ system design and delivery efforts. Preferred Skills and Education BICSI Certification (Design, Technician, or Installation)
Experience with the development of requirements documentation
Knowledge of engineering task leadership and planning
