Cyber Anst II

The selected candidate will provide onsite support to the United States Computer Emergency Readiness program (US-CERT) responsible for analyzing and reducing cyber threats and vulnerabilities, disseminating cyber threat warning information, and coordinating incident response activities. USCERT provides advanced network and digital media analysis expertise and defends against malicious activity targeting networks within the United States and abroad.

The selected candidate will provide expertise in vulnerability management processes and network vulnerability scanning. This includes configuring network scans, scheduling network scans, and ensures accurate vulnerability assessment results are generated and made available to appropriate personnel. Candidate will configure vulnerability assessment tools to perform vulnerability scanning on enterprise network. Candidate will also troubleshoot issues arising from vulnerability scanning and serve as technical expert for vulnerability assessment tools.

Candidate preference to shift will be considered. Following shifts are available:

Shift 1: Mon - Fri, 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Shift 2: Mon - Fri, 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Shift 3: Mon - Fri, 10:00PM - 6:30AM

Shift 4: Sat and Sun, 6:00AM - 6:30PM, plus two (2) eight-hour weekday shifts

Shift 5: Sat 6:00PM - Sun 6:30AM and Sun 6:00 PM - Mon 6:30 AM, plus two (2) eight-hour weekday shifts
