Corporate Communications Specialist

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Corporate Communication Specialist to support a government customer. Qualified Candidates will support an analytic tradecraft mission to produce world-class geospatial content that empowers decision makers by making sense of the world as it exists today and anticipating the events that will shape the world of tomorrow. Candidates will work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions; must be available to perform duties in a multiple-shift, crisis support (on-call) environment, as necessary. Duties will include developing speeches, emails, and presentations as well as conducting research and draft speeches, presentations, and other products. Personnel will provide relevant and updated content for internal website and will work with web developers to develop sound, high-quality, and relevant website that adheres to corporate policies. Assignments may also include the design, development, and implementation of a communications strategy and targeted communications campaigns for office efforts. Finally, personnel will be expected to participate in meetings with customers, team members, contractors, and others to exchange information, make decisions, and/or provide updates as well as coordinate with the Directorate and Agency-level communications teams.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

- 7-11 years of experience
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
-Experience in strategic communications and engagement
-Excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically while acting tactically
-Excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively with peers and superiors
-Superior attention to detail
-Superior collaboration skills and ability to build networks
-Outstanding ability to juggle competing priorities

Preferred Skills and Education

-Experience with Tableau
